Geocache Description:

Cemetery in Olde Plainfield Township with a great view.
This cache got its name because I was told by my dad for years that the large gravestone. To the east was for a family's horse. So when placing this cache that came to mind. not sure if there really is a horse buried here or not but I will always believe there is.
Congratulations BLABrus on FTF

This cache should be a fairly easy park and grab. it is not on a gravestone Large enough for small trade items and trackables please don't leave anything you would not take. This is my first cache and plan on making more. I placed this one to have a TB hang out close to home. please obey all rules and hours when looking for this cache.

Here's another story about the area that I find interesting. to bad they had to move the road. So now no one will get to see if this is true.
Kent County Haunted Places - Cannonsburg Road - Oakwood Cemetery Oakwood Stands on the corner of Cannonsburg and Brewer roads. Just west of Oakwood, until recently, stood the old Brewer family estate. Just west of that is a long lay of Grand River Valley land that once was the lumber town of Austerlitz. There is much forgotten and paved-over history there. In the 1980’s motorists returning home from Grand Rapids at night told of a woman who stood on the corner of Brewer and Cannonsburg roads she wore no coat, though the weather at the times during which she appeared was always disagreeable. She was seen in cold rains and wet snows. This rural area just at the edge of town was not completely desolate so there are no stories of motorist stopping to offer the apparition a ride. As the stories go, she never thumbed or indicated in any way that she was in distress, she just stood there enduring the elements. Could she have been a live person? Doubtful, Homes were far enough away from Oakwood that there would have been no reason for a young woman to stand out on that corner late at night in nasty weather with no coat.
