Geocache Description:

CACHE LOCATION: "The day was fine and breezy, and neither of them felt like staying indoors, so they walked past the Three Broomsticks and climbed a slope to visit the Shrieking Shack, the most haunted dwelling in Britain. It stood a little way above the rest of the village, and even in daylight was slightly creepy, with its boarded windows and dank overgrown garden.
'Even the Hogwarts ghosts avoid it,' said Ron, as they leaned on the fence looking up at it."

This is one of four Harry Potter caches based on the four houses of the Hogwarts school: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
The wizards claim that these locations are 'unplottable': a magical effect making it impossible to plot them on a map, but we managed it! Ha ha!

The cache is a medium-sized lock 'n' lock stuffed with cool swag.
For those of you not hip to Harry Potter, there are items for you too.
Take anything inside for trade and leave whatever you'd like.
I will restock the cache now and again with treasure to fit the theme.

Keep outside of the fence. There is also a neat historical monument a few miles up the road, if you are interested in that sort of thing, but do not go beyond this point. It is very near the US/Canada border and you'll end up explaining geocaching to a border guard if you approach the boundary.
American cachers, enter Canada through the Carway crossing or Del Bonita if you wish to seek this cache.
