CITO EVENT LOLO Nat. Forest folks are excited that we are taking this on. DATE: 4/14/2007 (sorry folks) may change to 4/22/2007 if weather doesn't cooperate (I have to work though)
This event takes place at a quazi campground and shooting range at an area towards the end of Miller Creek Road.
There is a cache very close to the area for those of you
who haven't found it. "TABA 3 A Short Rest"
We plan to start around 9am,and are hopeful that we can wrap it up around 3pm
As noted before the LoLo Forest folks are excited that we've decided to take this on...it has been used for several keggers and is pretty messed up. They will provide the necessary haul away equipment. We will provide the pick-up muscle, I have a couple of bags of contractor-size trashbags, so we're ready to go on that level
Wear gloves, and "Gophers" and other grabber-type pick up tools really do come in handy. An orange vest or bright clothing is appropriate as well.
Also the rating might err to the easy side...depending on the amount of trash and the size of it...we could be in for a tiring day!
Jennifer and I are still researching an after clean-up get-together either at a local eatery or a potluck somewhere. Drop a note as to ideas or choices on this page and Jen and I will poll the results, and get it set up.
