This building, part of the Le Mars Municipal Park WPA project, has been designated for the exclusive use of Scouts, both boy and girl. No longer visible from the outside, there are engraved emblems of the Scouts in the masonry work on the interior. The building is still used for scout outings. At times, you may encounter local Scouts having a campout right on these grounds. The nearby picnic shelters and fire ring make this a great spot for Cub Scouts first overnight in a tent!
