Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Eagle Landing Park in Burien. This park opened in early June 2005 and is the newest in the Burien park system.

The park boasts 6 acres of woodland and nearly 250 feet of Puget Sound waterfront. A new well-groomed gravel trail runs from the small five-stall parking lot at the top down to a set of around 300 metal (mostly) and wood (some) steps (try to count them; what number do you get?) that serve as the final means of descent down to the beach. As the name suggests, there is an active eagle nest viewpoint and other interpretive stops along the way.

The hike is not long (10-15 minutes one way), but the trail is steep in places and might present a challenge for very young children (unless carried) and the elderly (a little harder to carry), especially on the return trip.

You are looking for a green ammo box hidden just off of the trail. Only minimal bushwhacking is required.

GPS satellite signals might be hard to acquire and lock-on due to the thick canopy.

Please carefully re-hide and camouflage the cache to prevent muggles from stumbling upon it.
