Geocache Description:

A visit to Dumpling Brook - an easy one-stage multi.

This cache is inspired by Shakespeare's comedy Pericles, Prince of Tyre. A synopsis of the play as well as the full text can be found here. Being one of Shakespeare's lesser known and performed plays, there have been no noteworthy film or television adaptations.

"See where she comes apparelled like the spring."
(Act I, Scene I)

Like all my other Shakespeare caches, you do not have to read the play to find the cache.

The Area

You've probably driven by this forest many time and never given it a second thought. For the most part, this is a pretty uninteresting forest along the Everett Turnpike. But there are some nice spots and I hope you enjoy the walk. I always thought this area was inaccessible being surrounded by private homes and the turnpike. But I finally spotted a trailhead and enjoyed finally getting to explore this area. I now share it with you.

The Cache

This is an easy one-part multi - it only has one waypoint. At the waypoint, you'll find four items all within a few feet of each other. On each item, you'll find part of the coordinates for the final. Put them all together and you'll have the seconds north and west.

Please Note

  • The cache is a 30 cal ammo can.
  • Please re-hide as well as you found it. There are muggles about.
