As some of you may know, this year (2012) is the 100th year of GIRL SCOUTS! Ok, the all caps were unnecessary but I got my point across. Girls Scouts Rock!

If you don't know who Girl Scouts are, we are the girls that sell those delicious cookies.

On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, Juliette Gordon Low had the first ever Girl Scout meeting. She believed that girls should be given a chance to develop mentally and physically. That original Girl Scout troop started out with only 18 girls. Now, in a hundred years, we are over 3.2 million strong and spread all over the world. These scouts have an endless age range.

Once a Girl Scout always a Girl Scout.
