The cache measures 26 x 13 x 5 cm, a plastic container with a blue lid in a black carrier-bag. The cache spot is more like a crack rather than a cave but you’ll see a deep hole behind the rocks. There are several caves in the vicinity of Mindszentpuszta. Some of them were used as shelters for local people during the war of independence in 1848-49 and the WWs.
There’s a graveyard, a pond and a tourist house nearby.
The cache is in a nature reserve so do take heed of the plants. The area among the hills is called Cyclamen valley, its flora is marvellous at any time of the year.
You can’t paddle up to the cache site, leave it at the tourist house.
