Here is this year’s installment for my friend Pete, this time
it’s a puzzle. Every year Pete and his crew head for their
annual trip to Parvin where, there is always a new cache just
waiting for him. I really have to give Pete credit. For fifty years
I called this place by the wrong name, Parvins. It was Pete who was
key in straightening me out!
Sis and I grew up camping, fishing, ice-skating, and canoeing here
at Parvin. Frequently, our cousins would join in on the fun.
Typically we all got along well, but every once in awhile some
trouble would start (generally the boys against the girls) and one
of the adults would yell over, “Play fair!”
Well now fifty years later we’re giving this same sage
advice to our grandkids. Undoubtedly, this admonishment has been
heard amongst the Grunriese Gang as well.
I’m sure we all can agree that Pete is quick, a bit
quirky, quiet, quite a quipster, qualified, quizzical and quasi
quaint. However, have no qualms (you can grab your quill and quote
me on this) Pete is not a quitter, a quack, questionable, queasy,
quarrelsome, quibbling, or queer! For my intents, we’ll have
no parts of this! And, above all, Pete is always known to play
fair!

Pete seems to like hints, so here are a couple for
him:
- The cache is not at the posted coordinates.
- Anything in or on the cache page may or may not be useful.
You will need to bring a writing instrument.
