East side of Deep Run. Walk down Ridgefield Parkway to Gaskins Road to reach the site. Crossing Deep Run or its wetland to get to this cache is not recommended. Watch for copperheads.
This cache will bring you to the often un-visited part of Deep Run Park. Only a small portion of the land to the east of Deep Run belongs to the park, and you are near the northern extent of it. Because of the natural barrier that Deep Run presents, most park visitors never make it to this spot and, despite the nearness of Gaskins road, you are more apt to see wildlife on this side of the stream, especially farther upstream.
