Geocache Description:

This is a camouflaged nano in a semi-urban setting. Maximum stealth required.

Inspiration for this hide is "Muffy's Evil Nano" and "Billy Goat's Gruff #2". Our quotes are inspired by M_and_W. Bring your own sharp pencil and a log extraction tool.

Warning: Several of the log pictures are spoilers. Also you should not have to stick your hands into any openings.

This hide pays respect to a relic of the early industrial age in ancient Yardley Borough (founded 1682). If you have arrived, the area you are in was Leedom's Lumber Yard up until November 1997 when it burned down. Today there is a restaurant here that makes a great Greek salad - unless you are a customer, make sure you park across the street so you don't use their parking spots. They have no idea about this hide, so do not bother asking.

Back when anthracite coal was king, the coal boats would pull over here in Yardley to off-load coal for the locals using this old ship's mast as a crane. Here it stands today, quietly rusting away.

"Many persons have the wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."
Helen Keller

"Many admire, few know."
Hippocrates

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
Thomas A. Edison

"One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man."
Elbert Hubbard
