Geocache Description:

30 cal ammo can placed in Smyrna's DASEF Park

This cache was placed during the opening of Delaware Aero Space Education Foundation's new environmental Outpost in Smyrna. just off of RT 1 Exit 144 or down RT 13 on Big Oak Road this is a cool place that focus on creativity through exploration, scientific inquiry and teaching. the place seems to have it all and it's just starting to be built. the main building is only open by appointment due to staffing issues that are still being worked out. the Observatory houses a 16" telescope for night viewing. the park has one of the best play sets I have ever seen, looks like a rocket ship with two high tube slides. this thing is big so bring your kids and be ready to spend some time playing. this is the 2ed cache placed opeing day for the park. I had to give a quick class on geocaching to the staff and they seemed very interested in the sport. The cache is guarded by Little Foot the long neck dinosaur. as always cover up the cache and watch for mugglers. have fun
