I service my Jeep at Boardwalk because I can bring it in for a 15,000-mile service with 20,000 miles on the odometer and they don't chastise me like other service people do. I noticed this boardwalk while waiting for an oil change earlier this year. If not for geocaching, this is something I would never even have considered attempting. I came back today wanting to attempt to hide a cache here. It's a micro, smaller than a 35mm film canister, yet it shouldn't be too hard to spot, even from thirty feet away. Unlike many of the local urban caches, the challenge here is not to figure out where a disguised container is hiding, rather it is merely to get to the cache. In fact, I'll even show you a picture of the cache in situ.
As the sign says, you are at your own risk when attempting this cache.
I rigged up a pseudo harness when I did this. The thrill won't be as big as conquering TMA-1, but for me it was still exciting nonetheless. Enjoy.
