This cache is located just past an overlook platform along a beautiful trail. The platform is overlooking a wetland area that should be full of wild life during the summer months. From the cache location you can see a Wood Duck house mounted on a tree right in the middle of the wetland area. The trail to the cache winds along the South Fork River. From the trail you have some beautiful views of the river and some areas where folks wade into the river and hang out and enjoy the river. Bring some sandals or swim shoes so you can enjoy the river as well. The hike into the cache is about a one mile hike in. The parking and the trail head is right next to the covered bridge.
