Geocache Description:

3rd Annual Millers Bay Neighborhood Association Clean up of the shore line, April 25, 2015, of the bay and fence line of E. Cook School on Nevada & Hazel

Please join in the Earth Day clean up of Menominee Park at Millers Bay shoreline, from Ames Point to the New York Ave. dock(or beyond if you feel inclined to do so) and the fence line of Emmeline Cook School at Hazel & Nevada.

This event starts at 8:30am and goes till approximately 10:30ish . Starbucks coffee and other treats will be available to start your morning.  Garbage bags will be provided, but please bring a pair of gloves or be prepared to get your hands dirty :(

The shoreline of Menominee Park gets a lot of garbage washed up on its banks when the ice goes out and the spring winds whip up. The area covered with debris, is also host to quite a few geocaches, so you may be able to camouflage your actions while picking up garbage :)

This is the 3rd annual Millers Bay Neighborhood Association (MBNA) Earth Day clean up of the Millers Bay shoreline and most of the neighbors have no idea what geocaching is or even notice what you are up to. With that said, you may have plenty of opportunity to educate, or just go about your cleaning and logging unbeknownst to them :)

Please bring a writing utensil as you will be challenged to find at least a dozen geocaches as well as securing the 2015 CITO souvenir for your profile :)
