Geocache Description:

Loch has placed this cache to mark the spot of my demise. Go in search of it if you dare. If you stop by at night I will treat you to a haunting tune blowing through the air. If you come during the day I will still be watching from my eternal resting spot.

THE STORY OF MY DEMISE:
On July 2, of 1970 a friend and I were celebrating our high draft numbers (322 for me and 279 for my friend) at a bar down in Lexington. It was also my nineteenth birthday so we were drinking it up. At the end of our partying we started walking back towards home which was just off South Road in Bedford. A stranger picked us up just outside Lexington center and offered us a ride. When we got up to Winter Street he took a left and pulled over next to the cemetery. He said it was to stretch his legs. We decided we were close enough to home and got out to walk. Before we could even take two steps he was up behind us and killed my friend outright. Me, he knocked over the head. When I came to all I could see were my feet. It took me awhile to figure out I was dead. The next day the police found my decapitated body next to the tree the stranger has stuffed my head into. They never found my head so I still haunt this now closed stretch of Winter Street.

In an ironic twist they buried my body in Westview Cemetery not far over the fence form where my head is now. At night my body wanders around but never can get over the fence so if you see it, call out to it so it will know where to find my head. As for you, whether you come out in the day or at night, make sure you say hi to me and my head.

Good luck and good caching,

Loch Cache and friend
