Geocache Description:

Could be a P&G but if the museum is open it is worth a stop inside. Exhibits change more or less monthly. Placed with the knowledge and encouragement of the staff.

A wise (or at least fairly observant) person once said, The only thing constant is change". This is the third in a series of caches hidden in places that have undergone a major transformation.

NOT ALL CHANGE IS BAD!!!!

The area where this cache is placed spent the last 20 years of the last century as an "Adult Oriented Business".
The building now houses the South Austin Museum of Popular Culture. This amazing little hideaway is dedicated to preserving and displaying work of local artists and icons from the early 20th Century to the present. As you drive in to the parking lot you will see memorials - some that have been turned into shrines - depicting local musicians and artists who have passed on. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Check out the exhibits. They are usually free although I'm sure donations would be accepted.
This is a wonderful venue to learn all about the GOOD OLE DAZE.
