THE CACHE:
This is a two-stage multi that should be particularly enjoyable to those of you who prefer contact with nature as opposed to adding another PNG smiley to your list of finds. This one does not require alot of bushwacking but both stages are off-trail. If you do both stages at one time you are looking at about a one mile hike round trip, mostly on a well-packed or paved trail. But before you know where to go, you will need to be able to solve two puzzles to get the final cache and sign the log.

Here is the puzzle you have to solve for Stage One. Once you have broken the code, you will have the needed coordinates to find the container you seek. Enjoy!

Now for the Stage Two puzzle. I suggest that you print out this page IN COLOR and take it with you to the cache site along with a pencil. Once you gather the information needed and fill in the squares, you will have to complete this Sudoku puzzle in order to determine the coordinates to Stage Two. The Internet is not required to solve the puzzle so it can be done in the field. How LONG it takes you to solve the puzzle, I cannot say. FYI - Stage Two is located within walking distance of Stage One but there are several ways to get there, some rougher than others. I am providing an evince verification link for this stage so that you can call someone to verify the coordinates for you on Stage Two, if you wish to do so. NOTE: The colors used in the Stage One puzzle have nothing to do with the colors used in the Stage Two puzzle.
