Buy swim trunks for the parrot and varnish your peg leg, matey, 'cause a short voyage will be required to reach this cache. It's on the north shore of Patagonia Lake, hidden in a natural rock recess where only the craftiest scallywag can find it.
A stout sailing vessel and scurvy crew are optional; the lake is only about 100 yards across at this point. An inner tube, blow-up raft, floating lounge chair, some pool toys, and a swimmer were all seen making the journey on the day we hid the cache. We're not rating the terrain "5" because a boat isn't really required.
The cache is a waterproof plastic container about the size of a Bandaid box. It contains a log, pencils, and Geocaching pin and compass.
