Queen's Gardens Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

mr matto: Unfortunately I'm going to have to archive this one. When I took it in for a dry out it was actually soaked in urine. When I went to replace it a few weeks later there was more human 'waste' and tissues scattered around. Thought i'd leave it for a few weeks to see if it improves but it seems to of become a bit of a local toilet for the tramps :-(

Geocache Description:

A cache in Queen's Garden, a small oasis in Croydon.

The garden was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1983, The area had previously consisted of the smaller Town Hall Gardens, and the site of Croydon's police station. The garden is popular with wedding photographs, with the register office being just across the road.

From the gardens Taberner House can be seen, which is the old Croydon Council offices currently being demolished. The new shiny glass building next door is their new offices.

Should be a very straight forward find, but beware, this is a muggle hot spot!!

congratulations to Sludge bucket on the FTF!
