Geocache Description:

This cache is a bit larger but may be a little more difficult to find. To start it off we added some Tupperware items; an orange peeler, a melon baller, and a tie hanger. There is also a pencil grip and two travel bugs. One is the Wandering Woods Man and the other is My First Dog Tag.

This bridge was built in 2005 by Oakwood Township and the signs were placed by the Vermilion County Museum Society.

President Abraham Lincoln forded Stony Creek here between 1841 and 1856 when riding the Judicial Circuit. This is a beautiful area that is not highly traveled. Enjoy the scenery and peacefulness.

Happy Hunting!
