Donbert: It is with pure reluctance that I am having to archive this cache. It has served much pleasure to the geocaching community, but I was having to replace it too often. Geocache Description:

Located in Bon Air Park, Arlington County, VA 22205

This is a small suburban park, located in an old established community. Some of the residents grew up here as children in the 40's, 50's and 60's, and now own and remain in the homes that their parents raised them in.

Bon Air Park is a relatively small park, and it hosts a Memorial Rose Garden to honor World War II Veterans. The rose gardens were started by the women and wives of those serving in the World War II. The tradition of maintaining these gardens has continued ever since.

There are few trails through the wooded area of the park, but this park is a pleasant stop off of the Washington & Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail.

No need to bushwhack to this cache ... it is a short stroll to the hide. You are looking for a tall, 2 quart snack container, painted to blend with the environment. DO NOT SEEK THIS CACHE AT NIGHT!!
