This cache was placed to commemorate the annual Geocachers of
the Northeast (G.O.N.E.) Cache Event. The 2007 event will be held
September 1 through September 3, 2007 at Camp Glen Gray.
The Event Patch
The Cache is located in Ringwood Manor State Park, off the
Cannonball trail. Its not far from Matapan Rock scenic
overlook.
While attending the G.O.N.E. event, it can be reached from Camp
Glen Gray. Otherwise, No parking is permitted for hiking at the
Camp, only campers and through hikers are allowed.
The G.O.N.E. Day Event includes Geocaching, finding event
caches, participating in fun activities, fishing (with NJ license),
boating, hiking, lunch and dinner. For campers, a night hike and
gathering around the council campfire sharing caching stories. For

All other times, the cache can be reached by parking by the
trailhead off Skyline Drive. Parking area / Trail Head.
