Do you like to take a chance? Well, over at the race track you can
take a chance on betting horses. Over here, you can take a chance
on our cache!!! This is a traditional cache with the usual log,
hidden in a very usual way. However, we mean it when we say that
this is a raffle cache. Inside the container are 50 tickets, just
as there in any kind of raffle. One of those tickets will be the
winning number for one UNACTIVATED GEOGEM. Here are the rules for
them:
1. Sign the log as you would at any
other cache.
2. Take one ticket per Geo-Name
that is there. That is, if you are a group, and all log online
using the same name, only take one ticket. That way there will be
enough for everyone and everyone will have the same chance at
winning. Remember, keep you ticket handy, write down the number, or
do whatever it is that you need to do to make sure that you have
for when the drawing comes around.
3. Make sure you replace the
cache exactly as you found it.

The cache was placed on April 30,
2009. The drawing will be announced July 30, 2009. When we pull the
winning ticket, we will put the number up online on the cache
listing. So, make sure that you put this cache on your watchlist if
you are participating. Then just let us know if you have the
winning number. Also, as an alternative to that, you can post your
number in your log, post a picture of your ticket, or be creative
with letting us know. Maybe use smoke signals if you know
how.
One last thing...this cache is
along side of the horse tracks parking lots. It's $2 to park there
on a race day. However, there are side streets that are not far
from the GZ at all. They have there own parking rules, so make sure
that you follow them so you don't get a ticket from the cops
instead of one of our tickets from the cache. The one we parked on
one day is Phyliss Rd. It has permit parking only "Tues Thru Sat"
from 12 to 5 in the afternoon.
