There are two ways to get to this cache: the challenging way
(free!) or the easy way (expensive). It's up to you which way you
choose. Either way, the panoramic views are breathtaking! I've left
plenty of hints. You may use as many or as few as you wish!
Cache is a small, tupperware container with a blue lid. Inside,
are a logbook and small Hello Kitty flags. First three to find can
take one. Please bring your own pen!
Please be careful on this hike. The cache is in a safe location.
There is no need for special equipment and there is no need to put
yourself in danger. If you find yourself in an unsafe spot, you are
in the wrong place. I've even seen old people hike up here, BUT
please remember: there are no safety guardrails or anything to stop
you from falling. It's a long, long way down!
If you choose the challenging way, the hike to the top of the
ropeway takes about 45min. From there, it's another 15min. The
trail from the bottom is well hidden and I would recommend it only
to experienced hikers. The beginning of the trail is at: N 35d
45.197' E 138d 33.812'
If you take the easy way, ride the gondola up to the top of the
mountain, then follow your GPS to the correct location.
