Many company picnics and events were held here at the old Buck
Norred Ranch, a popular private equestrian facitlity in the 1970s
and '80, The county bought the ranch in the 1990s and it is now
home of the Santa Clara County Mounted Ranger Unit.
The cache can be reached along the new Norred Trail in Santa
Teresa Park. Do not cut across the Mounted Ranger Unit buildings.
Closest entrance is at my
Official Neighborhood Trailhead cache.
Park hours are from 8:00am to sunset. Dogs on leash and bicycles
are allowed on this trail.
The cache is in a small spice jar, 2" diameter x 4" long,
covered with duct tape. The cache contains a logsheet, cache note,
small pen, and some small trinkets.
