Geocache Description:

I gallon plastic jar.

One Degree of Separation is a project started by the infamous Snoogans. It has been taking shape and GROWING for nearly 3 years. It's a variation of the "Small World" concept that was proposed in the early 20th century. Many people are familiar with the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game, but few know just how far back the idea goes.

I recieved this cache, as many other cachers did, at Snoogans' One Degree of Separation event at Geowoodstock 4 in Dallas, Texas. Cachers had gathered from the far corners of these United States and beyond.

To understand the the inspiration for this project, please click the "User's Web Page" link below the event title above.

Each of the hundreds of regular caches that were given away, contained a log, a pencil, and at least 20-50, or more, log only, micro "seed caches" as part of the "One Degree of Separation Project."

As with any other Seed Cache, there are a few guidelines for titling the caches as they are placed as part of the project. Each seed pod given out was given an assigned that pertains geocachers who in some way made the ODS event possible.

If you are willing to participate, please take one of the seeds from this pod and hide and post it as a cache. Each "seed" should be named "(hider's name): One Degree of Separation"

We first meet Snoogans at Geowoodstock 3 and enjoyed a wonderful day of caching and Jeepin' in the woods with him here in Osceola. I can't
