Located just a few hundred feet from the intersection of Duck Creek road (HGY 464) and US route 89, this cache location gives you a fine view of both the community of Babb Montana (including the famous Babb International Airport) and the mountains of the Rocky Mountain front between Divide Mt. and Chief Mountain. Situated on the Blackfoot Nation, the cache location has plenty of off road parking and a look into Glacier National Park well worth stopping for.
The Cache container has some room for trackables (small) and holds a log and some small trade swag. It is not a container designed to be driven over so don't attempt to park within 30 feet of the cache. I figured this area could use a cache since they are few and far between in this glorious chunk of the Big Sky country. This is a seasonal hide and would be next to impossible to find with a couple of inches of snow on the ground.
Remember you're in Bear country and guests of the Blackfoot Nation at this site. Enjoy the view but please do not cross fences or open gates.
