North end of Serrano Valley
As far as I am concerned Serrano Valley is one of the more
beautiful areas in this section of the Santa Monica Mountains. That
is why I chose to place my first cache here. This cache provides a
seldom seen view of Boney Mountain from the south as well as a
panoramic overlook of the Serrano Valley from the north side of the
valley. If you look behind you there is a grand view of Sycamore
Canyon as it winds its way to the sea.

December 19, 2009 by w_bovine (3776 found) One of these days I shall have to explore Serrano Valley as well. But for now, I had to get my behind up to Boney Mountain and back down the other side.
