The Lair of the Barking Dragon
SONG OF THE BARKING DRAGON
On a moonless summer night
The guardians of the forest were forced to flight.
And as oft ensues from ignorance and haste,
An era of magic was laid to waste.
For upon encountering our mighty barking beast,
The conquerors did not hesitate the least
To slay our hero in its bed
By blindly chopping off its head.
Tragically, they could not see
The beautiful dragon for the tree.
Take courage, Wanderer, and do not despair,
For the spirit of our dragon remains in its lair.
And should your quest be noble and true
The treasure of the dragon will reveal itself to you.
Descend into the lair to find the dragon’s cache. Look for a container that is naturally camouflaged.
Cache is within a few feet of trail. Expect to hike along a gravel road, trails of hard packed earth, steep stairs, and wood footbridges. NJ Transit Railroad borders Poricy Park so use common sense and DO NOT SEARCH NEAR RAILS and DO NOT CLIMB GRAVEL EMBANKMENT. Cache is more than 150 feet away from tracks.
