How Geocaching Works
A nice half mile walk on the appalachian trail, park at the Reeds Gap parking area and head south on the trail at the end of the parking area.there is approximately 390 feet of elevation change but the trail is not too steep. At this time of year walk gingerly because of snow and ice.
The reason for this pick is the view you have of both sides of the ridge you can almost see my house from the cache but a small knob called Bee Mt. is in the way. my kids filled the cache so it is child friendly. it is visible but rocks were put in front to keep animals from having their way with it. contents are Krazy string, beany frog, emergency poncho, wildflower seeds, awesome bandaids (just in case),power puff girl, mini carbiners,2 rugrats, sponge bob, butterfly barret, an alien, an angry beaver (daget), charm bracelet and a log book. Be sure to take some time and enjoy the views. also at coordinates N37'53.692 by W078'59.346 there is a marker find it and Email me with the numbers stamped on top.
