ASoUC: Wide Window Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

step2626: With 564 finds on this venerable old cache, it is one of the most found in the county. I am unable to keep someone from stealing the container. So, with mixed emotions, I am going to archive this cache. Since everyone has already found it, it won't be missed by too many people other that people trying to caches hidden in February of 2004, or caches hidden on leap day. Oh well, it has lived a good life.

Geocache Description:

This is a cache based on Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events Book Three: The Wide Window

If you enjoy finding caches that involve fun, happy themes, you would be better off throwing your GPS out the window and finding a new hobby than seeking out the caches in this series. This cache is the third in A Series of Unfortunate Caches that are inspired by Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” books. If you are unfortunate enough to have already read the series of books, you will know what we are talking about. This cache is based on The Wide Window, in which the Baudelaire children’s boat sinks into a leech infested lake.

OK, so we located this cache near a river and not a lake, but hey at least there are wide windows nearby. You are looking for a plastic 6” x 6” x 2-1/2” container. Be sure to stay away from the water, there might be leeches!
