The eighth in a series of coastal caches.
This one is named after an English children's song, for a change.
I hope you enjoy the beach as much as I do.
General Directions:
This one will require a good bit of bushwhacking (but please don't hurt the plants unnecessarily) and maybe a bit of wading, if you don't want to scratch up your boat. DO NOT attempt to reach the island from the bridge! This is dangerous, illegal, and downright impossible, as it is a very tall bridge. The island is best approached from the south, by kayak, during high tide. That being said, you will find a public boat ramp at Waypoint Bravo, if you don’t own a kayak and don’t wish to rent one. If approaching by kayak, park at Waypoint Alpha and follow the wooden path at the end of the road to a small dock from which you can launch your kayak.
On the island, you will encounter oyster beds, crabs, thick underbrush, mosquitos, spiders, thorns, and the like, so be prepared.
