Geocache Description:

Upper tributary to Dworshak Reservoir (North Fork Clearwater River)Rock outcrop at waters edge. Steep climb not for less experienced on unstable rock/terrain. More exact coordinates to cache are N 46° 37.428 W 115° 59.540, provided by recent fellow geocacher (thank you)

Accessible only by Boat, this remote spot will give you the feeling that you are in an ancient Alaskan inlet waterway worlds away from civilization. At full pool level this rock out crop allows excellent cliff jumping to arouse excitement in anyone willing to take the challenge, but please don't, cliff diving is not allowed on the reservoir. It is possible to climb to the top via primitive trail north of rocks (good place to dock boat), or dock at base of rock and scale the rock, but be gentle on the fragile moss and rock face. Coordinates get you to the rocks but the cache is obscured by canopy and the GPS could not get a closer location. The picture of the cliff jumpers is the spot at the top and that is where you want to be to experience the breath taking view AND FIND THE PRIZE. Getting up there is well worth the effort. Enjoy, and let us know about your experience. Maintained on August 3, 2019, Cache is in good shape, it has been a while since I was back to the site, took a while to find, but remembered that it is behind a large white rock under a decaying log. I added another Nalgene bottle for the taking or to have stuff added,
