Quick easy roadside cache.
From Hwy 145 go north on 11th St (31) & up the hill, watch for crossroad W (FR 527) near the top, take it east. Cache is before the cattle guard & outside the San Juan National Forest.
You're looking for a 9"x6"x2.5" Loc-n-Loc container with lots of "treasures" in it.
This is the gateway to many miles of great hiking, mountain biking & horseback riding on trails thru a beautiful Ponderosa pine forest. So why not get out of the car & boogie down the trail a ways, maybe have a picnic? Elevation is 7594 feet.
