Jardines de
Sabatini |

Los Jardines de Sabatini fueron construidos en los años 30
del siglo XX tras la proclamación de la Segunda República, en el
lugar que ocupaban las caballerizas construidas por el arquitecto
italiano Francesco Sabatini junto al Palacio Real.
Ocupa una extensión de 2.54 hectáreas y permite unas vistas muy
bonitas a la fachada norte del Palacio Real.
¿Como llegar?
- En coche
Lamentablemente no conozco ningún parking que esté cerca, pero
seguro que hay. Si encuentras a uno, pon las coordenadas en tu log
y las añadiré.
- En metro
O puedes bajar en "Plaza de España" (Líneas 3 & 10) o en
"Ópera" (Línea 5) que están ambas a 5 minutos de una
entrada.
- En autobus
Puedes bajar en la cuesta de San Vicente (Líneas 25, 39, 46, 75,
138 & C1) y entonces tomar la entrada 3.
El caché
El caché
NO
se encuentra en las coordenadas indicadas. Para llegar al caché,
hay que visitar dos sitios en los jardines y calcular valores. Como
los jardines son muy pequeños, sólo deberías necesitar 5 - 10
minutos. Pero sólo es posible mientras que esté abierto el
parque.
Debido a que éste es un sitio turistico muy cercano, hay casi
siempre muchos geomuggles. El caché es muy pequeño, sólo contiene
el libro de visitas. En éste sólo puedes apuntar tu nombre y la
fecha. No caben ni lapices ni otras cosas para intercambiar.
¡Llévate algo para escribir!
Para aceder al parque y también dentro hay varias escaleras lo
que impide el accesso a sillas de ruedas. Con el cochecito sí es
posible si puedes bajar y subir pocos escalones. Entonces a lo
mejor usas las entradas 2 y 3 (véase los waypoints)

*: Para calcular la
suma succesiva de un número, suma las cifras de éste. Si el
resultado tiene más de una cifra, calcula la suma de estas cifras.
Así sigues hasta que hayas llegado a sólo una cifra.
Si quieres por ejemplo calcular la suma succesiva de 1982, tienes
que calcular 1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = 20. Como tiene dos cifras sumamos otra
vez: 2 + 0 = 2. Ya hemos llegado a sólo una cifra cual es la suma
succesiva de 1982.
¿Como firmar?
Dado que no es tan fácil sacar el librito de visitas, encuentras
aquí un manual "paso a paso".
Como puedes ver, no cabe ningún lapiz. Así llévate algo para
escribir.

The Jardines de Sabatini were built in the 1930 after the
proclamation of the Segunda República (Second Republic), in a space
which before occupied the stablings which were built by Francesco
Sabatini right next to the Palacio Real. (Royal Palace)
It occupies 2.54 hectars (~ 6.3 acre) and gives you the oportunity
to enjoy some views of the northern façade of the Palacio
Real.
Getting there
- In car
I'm sorry, I don't know any parking areas there, but there are some
for sure. If you find any log the coordinates and I'll add
them.
- In metro
You can get off in "Plaza de España" (lines 3 & 10) or
in "Ópera" (line 5) which both are about 5 minutes from one
of the entrances.
- In bus
You can get off in cuesta de San Vicente (lines 25, 39, 46, 75, 138
& C1) and then use entrance 3.
The cache
The cache
ISN'T
at the given coordinates. To get to the cache you need to visit two
sites in the gardens and calculate some values. As the gardens are
very small you should only need some 5 - 10 minutes. But this is
only posible if the park is open.
Because this is a touristic site in the city centre there are
almost always many geomuggles. The cache is very small, it only
contains the logbook. You can only write your name and the date in
this logbook. You can't put in it neither pens nor other trading
items. Bring something to write!
To enter the park and also in the park there are several stairs
which inhibit the access with wheel chairs. But it is possible to
get there with strolers if you can cross some steps with it. In
this case you should use entrance 2 or 3 (see also the
waypoints)

I beg you to take and put the cache with care so that nobody

*: To calculate the
successive sum of a number, sum it's digits. If the result has more
than one digit sum these digits again. Repeat this step until your
result only has one single digit.
If you want for example calculat the successive sum of 1982, you
need to calculate 1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = 20. As these are dos digits sum
again: 2 + 0 = 2. There's just one digit left so this is the
successive sum of 1982.
How to sign?
Given that it's not that easy to get the log book out of the cache
I've put here a step-by-step manual.
As you can see there is no space for pens. Bring something to to
write.
