CCCNP – The Bottleneck Cache

THE CACHE IS AT THE COORDINATES LISTED UNDER ADDITIONAL WAYPOINTS. I am planning to archive this series and replace each cache. Until I do that this spring, the caches will remain as they are except that the actual coordinates for each cache will be posted as an additional waypoint.
The actual coordinates for this cache are also in the cache container for CCCNP - The Nars' (Narrows).
The CCCNP series contains 8 caches which must be found in order. The only one of the 8 that is at the posted coordinates is the first one, Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve.
The CCCNP Series:
1. Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve
2. CCCNP - The Waterfall
3. CCCNP - The Tree Fern Cave
4. CCCNP - The Nars' (Narrows)
5. CCCNP - The Bottleneck Cache
6. CCCNP - The Pancake Boulders
7. CCCNP - The Sedum Boulders
8. CCCNP - The Balancing Boulders
CCCNP – The Bottleneck Cache
Look at the map section above and the name for this cache will be obvious. The southern section of Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve joins the northern section through this “bottleneck”. This cache could also have been called the Directional Cache since, from map point 5, one may proceed in several directions. The trail to the left leads to many interesting and scenic locations including the “Fin”, the “Citadel”, Deloney Hollow and the old beaver pond wetlands as well as to the final 3 caches in this series and to GC11KVA “The Old Homesteadgeocache”.
The trail to the right leads to the tractor cave rock shelter and then on to Devil’s Hollow, Johnson Falls, Yellowwood Falls Rock Shelter, the Under Bluff trail and Karen’s Falls where one can find the geocache, Karen's Fallsby Keymaker (GCZGNG).
This cache is a camouflaged pill bottle containing the log sheet and the coordinates for CCCNP - The Pancake Boulders.
