Stagecoach Cache Traditional Geocache
AZmtnbikerider: Almost made it 3 years. Well, there's no way I'm going to be able to make it back out there in the near future to replace the container any time soon. Cache is archived.

A small plastic container, room for a few small trade items. Should
be easy find once you get near GZ. A high clearance vehicle will
get you within 300 feet. Cache is placed away from the road, so
please park the 4x4 and hike it to the cache. If you decide to hike
it here from Donnelly Wash, figure a terrain rating of 3.5.
Nice views overlooking the river nearby, and kid friendly, but
don't get too close to the edge.
Oh yeah... don't forget the drinking water!!! And always be on
the lookout for Arizona wildlife that can poke, bite, sting,
scratch, maim, or otherwise inflict pain and bodily
harm!!!
Contgratulations to Cog&Gil
for the FTF!
A co-worker of mine and I were out customizing his new 4x4 with
desert pinstriping, and I took the oportunity to inroduce him to
Geocaching. Before we left civilization, he said he knew a good
spot to hide a cache near some old ruins of a 19th century
stagecoach stop. From the cache site, look towards the northeast
and you'll see the remnants of the structure, each of 4 corners of
the building is about all that's left standing. We located the
cache away from the road so as not to be visible by muggles riding
ATVs.
Original cache contents: $1 FTF prize, log book, pen, Ford Mustang
car, glow-in-the dark yo-yo, tonka truck toy, and G.I. Jane.
Please don't fill this cache with bandaids, empty matchbooks, and
other similar pieces of paper. If you leave something or trade,
keep the cache fun for kids to find.
