Geocache Description:

This cache is at the end of a 4x4 trail adopted by the Gear Grinders 4x4 club & might not have been made accessible if it weren't for them. The trail is stated on the sign to be 4 1/2 miles & rated as easy. I found it to be over 5 miles & I rated more intermediate. It runs along the Pacific Crest Trail & is in a wilderness so no going off the trail.

Your looking for an ammo container. Please give all respect to the cabin an area as it is in the Wilderness area. We ate our lunch up there. You can get more info on the trail & Cabin on the Gear Grinders web site at : (visit link)
I recommend that you pick up a map at the BLM station at Jawbone they have a great map for three bucks that we use all the time.
