Loggers Journey: Looks like its time to put this year's GHAGAFAP to bed. Everyone at 'FAP Central had a great time putting this year's event together. Planning for next year's 'FAP has already begun over a few beverages.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and braving the foul weather, I'm glad it held off as long as it did. Two thumbs up to all those brave campers who spent the night. The pavillion was a welcome relief from the downpour.

One thing we would love to hear is feedback from you about the venue. Would you like to see the event remain for another year at Rockwood Conservation Area or should we try out a new venue. Feedback from the park was great and they have welcomed us to return. You can email us your thoughts at ghagafap@podspeak.net

We have tentatively set the date for next years GHAGAFAP for September 19,2009 so pencil it in for a return to 'FAP.

WHO - Anyone and Everyone. This is a family friendly event geared for all ages. Bring the kids, Grandma, Grandpa even the family dog.
WHAT - A fun filled day of geocaching, games and events suitable for all ages. Last year we had over 200 cachers, their family, and friends from far and wide. If you are new to the sport, this is a great opportunity to meet other like minded geocachers and talk to them and get the inside scoop. There will be games for both kids and adults alike. This year marks the return of the GHAGA-GOLF Tournament. Who will be this years champion? Will it be you? There are also a number of other geo-games in the works. There will be group camping available for Friday and Saturday night with activities for young and old. Be sure to check the ABOUT ROCKWOOD section for rates.
WHERE - Rockwood Conservation Area - Main Pavillion
WHEN - September 13, 2008 Registration starts at 9am
WHY - Because we can't think of a better way to wind down a great season of caching then have a get together with Family and Friends. Previous years have seen people from all over the world join in the fun of GHAGAFAP. So c'mon out and DO THE 'FAP!
COST - $5 per person, or $20 for a Family Pack*. This is to help offset the charges for prizes and rentals.

09:00	Registration desk opens. Please give the volunteers time to get set up.
09:30	Opening Greeting from the GHAGAFAP Central Crew and Ice Breaker Event.
10:00	Days events begin. Be sure to spend some time during the day socializing and be sure to talk about Geocaching to appease the Geocache Demi-Gods.
11:30	Lunch Starts (11:30-13:30) - Hamburgers, HotDogs and cold drinks available
13:30	Family and Children's Games
15:30	All draw tickets must be in for the draws.
16:00	Group Photo - Be sure to get yourself in the picture!
16:15	Closing ceremonies begin, Prize and trophy awards
17:00	GHAGAFAP-VII officially closes. Those who are camping can retire to the group camping area for any night activities.

We are looking for a final tally on the number of children under 14 who will be attending. Please check the guest list to make sure your kids have been counted in.
Those who are camping for the event. As we have a large number of campers in the group site we ask that you park your cars in the main lot after unloading your vehicles.
When you log your will attend please let us know how many children and what ages will be with you.
Also in your log we would appreciate if you let us know if you plan on camping and which nights, so we can get a handle on the numbers.
