Great views from John's Mountain Overlook.
Cache is located in the John's Mountain WMA pocket area. The overlook can be accessed from the Pocket Road or from the trails originating at Keowin Falls. Just off a well beaten path at the top. About a .15 mile easy hike from the overlook.
The terrain rating is a 3.5 because the road can be rough in places. If you choose to hike in from the falls, I would up it to a 4 or 4.5 depending upon your physical condition.
Cache is in a standard ammo box with a GPS sticker on the side. Original contents are several techno-schwag toys, a travel bug, audio CD and logbook.
While you are in the area, check out the three other nifty caches. Great spot for camping and hiking down in the pocket.
