WWC - WORLD WIDE CACHE
This's an amazing cache formed by five physical caches around the world.
Each cache contains the coordinates to the next one. The first continent is America, followed by Africa, Oceania/Australia, Asia and Europe.
You have two ways of getting this cache by doing a trip around the world (this is the best way, I would love to do it) or gathering a world wide team of friends to help with the search.
RULES
- In Each cache around the world, the finder must log the found it and write the team members so far. This way we can confirm that a real world wide team his working together.
Example:
In America Cache, the local finder must write in the found it log the name of the Europe team member.
In South Africa Cache, the local finder must write the in the found it log the names of Europe and Americas team members.
And so on...
In the last cache, the local finder must write in the found it log the names of all team members.
- To show that they are a real team. All team members must write notes on all the steps around the world.
- The five teams working together must be unique, one team must only participate in one group. If one of the teams participate in another group, that group findings will be deleted.
- You can write notes saying you are available to participate, and when you find a team mate, please delete your previous log.
- All finding logs will be verified in cache log book, if there is a found it log without the log in logbook the all series will be deleted.
- Only after the last cache is found, the all series will be validated, so if after a long time no one finish the last cache, all other findings in that serie will be deleted.

ALL LOGS AND NOTES MUST BE WRITTEN IN ENGLISH.
Geocaching rules says that only the one that finds and signs the log book can register the found it.
The others must only write notes.

To start you must go to the given coordinates to get the America cache location. There you must answer the following questions and make the calculations to get the coordinates.
W = Find the building of "Banco de Portugal" and count the number of metal statues sitting on the top of the building? (they are less than 5)
Y = How many fountains can you see in the main square? (they are less than 4)
Calculate X = W * 2
Use this values to replace the X, Y and (X+Y) by the corresponding digit:

Information:
The America cache is hidden in Rochester, the 3rd largest city in the state of New York. Rochester has been called the "Flour City", the "Flower City" and is a center for imaging.
Rochester is known for having nice parks. The cache is placed in one of these, Durand-Eastman Park. This park adjoins Lake Ontario and also has a few small lakes of its own. It used to house a zoo accounting for a large variety of trees, shrubs and plants. Other recreational opportunities at the park include golfing at the 18 hole Robert Trent Jones designed golf course and swimming under life guard supervision in Lake Ontario, the 14th largest lake in the world. Also of course there is hiking and geocaching. Many fine trails and geocaches exist here. The park itself was a gift to the city of Rochester from Dr. Henry Durand and George Eastman. George Eastman in particular plays a large part in the history of Rochester due to his philanthropy and his founding of the Eastman Kodak Company.

Information:
The Africa cache is hidden near the scenic Hartebeesport Dam in the North West province in South Africa. The Hartebeesport Dam area is fast growing to a holiday spot for Gauteng province residents as only approximately 50 km from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. Unfortunately most of the water front is closed to visitors and only accessible to residents of the ever increasing holiday complexes around the dam.
The Hartebeesport Dam is surrounded by large mountains, also featuring an Earthcache “GC1EGHP” for its geological formation. It is believed the mountain range was created by the impact of the Vredefort meteorite some 2034 million years ago, also refer to Earthcache “GCPX24”.
The cache container is a 2 liter lock and lock. You can park about 150m from the cache and have a leisurely stroll to the cache, however the access to the cache site is not easy to find. Best try is from the Oberon western site.

Information:
The spring is located at the foothills of a cliff on the north side of a sacred hilly area in Aza Nishibaru. Another name for it is Ubuga, and it is a sacred place for area residents. The structure of the present area was built 300 years ago and is based on the first, constructed some 600 years ago.

Now you pass all your steps, now it's time to go to the last cache is placed in Gerês near one of the many milestones of Roman Road XXVII called GEIRA. It connects Bracara Augusta to Asturica Augusta.
Information:
Geira is the popular name given to the part of the roman road XVIII - the Antonino itinerary - in the Gerês Mountain, inside the Peneda-Gerês National Park (PNPG).
PNPG in collaboration with the Archaeology Unit at Universidade do Minho and with the support of the Archaeology Institute at Universidade de Coimbra, has been promoting its study and valuation, producing new knowledge on this so important and well preserved road, and ensuring a systematic update of its epigraphy.
This introductory road guide to Geira aims to inform the park visitors on the visible remaining's of the roman times, on several places on the water reservoir borders - next to the dam of Vilarinho das Furnas - and between Albergaria and Portela do Homem, along the valley of river Homem.
The data being supplied here is based on the available bibliography and the studies carried out in 1979 and 1985-87 (by the Archaeology Unit at Universidade do Minho) and later in 1992, more thoroughly, with the co-operation of Archaeology department at the Peneda-Gerês National Park (PNPG). This guide also includes the parts of the roman road XVIII that cross the Natural Park of Baixa Limia - Mountain of Xurés, in Galiza, Spain (these two parks are combined into an European National Park). Thanks are due the excellent relationship between the staff in these two institutions; there is a sincere hope that this co-operation will be fruitful in the near future, as a contribution to the history research of a common past of two country brothers.
This guide also joins the celebration of the centenarian of the works of Martins Capella on the Milestones of the Conventus Bracaraugustanus in Portugal.
