Geocache Description:

Enjoy the walk along the Animas River.
The quickest access is N 37.16.787 and W 107.52.750. It is within 200 ft of this parking area.

Original Items: Ice fishing reel, fishing lures, Colorado fishing maps and regulations, national geographic fact cards, learning number cards, fishing pictures.

There are a multitude of great caches along the Animas River yet none dedicated to fishing the river. These waters are considered Gold Medal Waters where numerous large trout reside, many well over 16". Therefore this cache is dedicated to my Dad who taught me the great joys of fishing; a fine family tradition.
