Geocache Description:

Adopt a baby hermit crab! A fun cache for kids in Northborough, Mass.

*** Many thanks to Pandagram for allowing us to copy this idea from her "TURTLE EGGS" cache! ***

This cache is full of hermit crab eggs. Each egg also includes adoption papers, to be filled out by the new parents. Be sure to include in your log the name you have chosen for your hermit crab, and its date of birth.

Note for prospective parents with their hearts set on a particular sex: ultrasounds have been performed on some of the eggs, and we have determined that all of the pink eggs are girls, and the blue ones are boys.
But if you'd rather be surprised, take one of the other colors!

The cache is in the Mount Pisgah conservation area in Northborough. Parking is on Smith Rd (coordinates are listed below). It's a quick and easy walk from the car to the cache (about a quarter of a mile). Take the Mentzer trail to the Sparrow Trail; when you're about 150 feet from the cache, take the Howard Brook trail to the right. The container is an ammo can.
