This cache is located near one of the most colossal glacial
erratics I’ve ever seen. You may want to also look up my
BIG Bertha,
BIG Ben and
BIG Rock caches. The field fence is
placed around the outside of it making easy access possible, as is
evidenced by the thick layer of graffiti paint that’s flaking off
the rock. I discovered this behemoth many years ago when driving
down Watters Road. A bit hard to miss. By the way, the road it's next to,
i.e. Watters Road, was named after one of my wife’s relatives
from way back.
Like the other erratics, this little tike is made of granite
too. Looks like St. Cloud granite that came from up near St. Cloud,
MN to me. I’m sure what we see is but the ‘tip of the iceberg.’
You will notice an electric fence. No need to find out if it's
electrified! Please be sure to rehide the cache in a way where it
is less likely to be discovered.
The picture to the right here is one I took when at the rock
with HNOF.
