Whilst scouting this area we discussed what to name this cache. Duck Blind, 'Ducks, Ducks, Geese', Humongous Marsh, and so forth. When we got home and mapped the coords on DeLorme maps and find this one is actually 939.6' into Roscommon County, so don't use this one for getting Missaukee County, sorry!
Anyway, we didn't want to start a whole new series of, say, Roscommon Roving, or some such, and so we'll leave it in the Madness series.
Where you approach this cache there's a handy place to launch a kayak, canoe, or johnboat to explore this area further if you like. We heard the chorus of 4 species of amphibian, not to mention lotsa different birds.
Please re-hide well so hunters won't muggle it ;-) Enjoy!
