Geocache Description:

We placed this one on the way back from GCT8Z4 by Jimear1e, which was our 500th cache find. This was only a foot or so off of the main trail, and should require NO bushwacking. You may want to bring a pole and drop a line if we ever get any rain, as there are plenty of likely looking bream spots along this walk.

Dense tree cover may have an adverse effect on your GPSr readings, so be prepared to utilize geo-sense.

There were muggles out and about spraying herbicide and clearing trail, so do keep an eye out when hunting or replacing.

Please rehide as found or better to keep this one alive. As usual,Safety First! .......Take a friend, Look out for others, take a cell phone if possible, watch where you're stepping, NEVER UNCOVER ANY CACHE WITH YOUR HANDS OR FEET, USE A STICK! If you feel uncomfortable in doing a cache, for any reason, just walk away!!!

Little Manatee River State Park is located four miles south of Sun City Center, off U.S. 301 on Lightfoot Road. You will have to go to the main park entrance on Lightfoot road and tell them you want to hike the Northern Wilderness Trail. They will give you directions to the access gate and combination.

The park operates 365 days a year from Sunrise to Sunset.

Cache was placed with the permission of Ranger Clutterbuck, and it is absolutely neccesary to ask permission and get approval before hiding in this park if you intend to do so.

All of that said, be safe, have fun, and we'll see you on the trail!

Congratulations go to infiniteMPG and paddler found for FTF!
