The format is fairly unchanged from previous years, so I suggest reading the previous years' descriptions and logs to get a feel for the event.

There is no charge to attend the event, although there is a charge to stay at the group site to offset the cost of reserving the site. Some folks prefer to reserve an individual site, which is fine, too. This year we are at Group Site II, same as last year. This is a family-friendly event. Along with geocaching-related events, the park staff always has a variety of hikes and talks scheduled, and the lighthouse (indeed, most buildings) are open for FREE tours.
