A MIGHTY CACHE
This is an easily accessible cache in an out of the way part of a busy area.
I was challenged recently to put out a traditional cache that was NOT a micro. I felt a little out of my element in this challenge. I mean, really? A non-micro? I have only put out a couple of non-micro caches, and I just wasn't sure I was comfortable. The other part of the challenge required this to be a traditional. Traditional? Like....you just go there & find it traditional? No twist? No puzzle? No.....no...........no...........NOTHING?????
To quote the challenger, Hummmmmmmmm.
Could I do it? Could I take MightyMo up on this challenge, and succeed? It took some thinking, debating, planning, but I finally said "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"
I had to resist every urge to make this a puzzle. Visions of baseball trivia, School House Rock and Civil War information danced in my head as I was preparing this cache. No. NO! I am NOT going to turn this into a puzzle! Traditional. Green Box cache. No stages, no tricks. Ugh!
Also, I had to dig deep in my closet to find a non-micro container. Now, really the definition of a non-micro cache is pretty broad. I view this as a cache where you could leave a travel bug (not say, the Pink Panther travel bug, but a bug nonetheless!) and didn't have to wind the log around a paperclip piece.
I think this cache placement fufills both of the challenge requirements.
So here it is. A new cache. A traditional cache. A non-micro cache. GAME ON!
