Come out for a fun meet and greet and celebrate the
7 Souvenirs of August.
We will be meeting at the picnic area at Catfish Creek State Park on August 30th at 8:50 AM to 10:50 AM for a meet and greet. Doughnuts and Coffee will be provided. Please bring bugs, coins, and tags to trade. We can spend as much time together as you please.
After the event, head out on the trails where you will be able to grab up to five different cache types. If you log the event, that will make six cache types and you will be given that special seventh souvenir. There will be other new caches placed in the park as well. Don't worry about an entrance fee. Catfish Creek Preserve does not charge for usage.
PLEASE BRING A CAMP CHAIR SINCE WE ONLY HAVE ONE PICNIC BENCH.
WE WILL HAVE A RAFFLE THAT WILL TAKE PLACE AT 9:30AM.

Allen David Broussard Catfish Creek Preserve State Park has a unisex bathroom facility.
EXPECT HEAT!!!! Carry plenty of water in the Preserve. There is no water out on the trails.
